2025 Junior Elite 75 Recaps pt. 2

Khaelon Watkins (2029) 

Watkins is an explosive slasher with a high basketball IQ. He attacked with control and poise, creating opportunities for himself at the rim and setting up teammates for easy buckets when the lane closed. Defensively, he anchored the paint while also showing the versatility to guard smaller players on the perimeter. 

 

Dante Hummel (2029) 

Hummel pushed the tempo with energy but maintained a composed approach. He filled the stat sheet with strong drives to the rim and confident shooting from beyond the arc. His impact extended to the defensive end, where he proved to be a reliable two-way presence. 

 

Abel Clark (2029) 

Clark made a statement with his three-point shooting, sinking multiple contested looks with a quick release. Defensively, he was disruptive in the passing lanes, recording multiple steals and making his presence felt. 

 

Sloane Francis (2029) 

Francis has a crafty handle that opens up scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates. He attacked the paint, knocked down shots from deep, and consistently created open looks for others. He possesses all the tools of a true combo guard. 

 

David Djan (2029) 

Djan was a dominant force at the showcase. His size and elite athleticism stood out, and his ability to finish through contact made a significant impact. With a high athletic ceiling, he has all the makings of a college-level talent. 

 

JT Healey (2029) 

Healey showcased a versatile interior game, utilizing an array of finishes around the rim. Whether it was a smooth hook shot or a reliable floater, he consistently found ways to score inside.

 

Danye Upchurch (2029) 

Upchurch displayed a tight, fluid handle that allowed him to create clean looks. He capitalized on his ability to generate space, knocking down shots from all three levels with confidence and consistency. 

 

Julius Wilson (2029) 

Wilson had an impressive showing throughout the whole showcase. He made an impact on both ends with a key blocked shot and a smooth three-pointer, delivering a well-rounded performance. 

 

Jordan Butler (2030) 

Butler’s strong handle helped him create space for his own shot and set up teammates. He was a standout from beyond the arc, draining multiple threes when he was on the court. 

 

Enrique Perez (2030) 

Perez was a defensive pest, racking up multiple steals in each game. His lockdown defense and quick hands made him a difference-maker for his team. 

 

Eziah Kozlowski (2030) 

Kozlowski was a do-it-all offensive threat. He attacked the rim with confidence, finishing strong through contact while also showcasing a reliable perimeter game with multiple threes. Our scouts described him as “smooth.” 

 

Jaxon Gideon 2029 

Gideon did it all during the showcase. On the defensive end, he deterred drivers and blocked shots. With a knack for rebounding, he either looked for the outlet or made outstanding coast-to-coast drives through the teeth of the defense. 

 

Benjamin Heyward 2029 

Heyward had a deep bag of tricks throughout the night. His most reliable move was a stepback, which he hit with confidence from beyond the arc. 

 

Arnold Dick 2029 

AJ was smooth at the showcase, often creating driving lanes for himself. With an impressive finger roll, AJ was one of the most outstanding slashers on the court. 

 

Jacob Orival 2030 

Orival found his own shot with crafty dribbling but also moved very well without the ball. With his intelligent use of space and intuitive court sense, Orival hit multiple corner jumpers. 

 

Travis Brimley 2029 

Brimley finished inside well throughout the showcase, proving to be an interior anchor for his squad with early size and athleticism.

 

Kenzo Wright 2029 

Wright was one of the best ball-handlers at the showcase. With his confident, decisive dribble moves, he consistently found easy drives to the rim. 

 

Chance Markovitz 2029 

Markovitz displayed a fluid, confident play style throughout the event. His poise was most evident in his strong drives to the rim, where he often finished through contact with control beyond his years. 

 

Aiden Richard 2029 

Richard showed impressive athleticism, exploding for several dunks off two feet throughout the showcase. His ability to finish above the rim stood out.

 

Sylvain Kandolo 2029 

Kandolo played well off two feet in the paint, utilizing a variety of crafty moves. With up-fakes, step-throughs, and pivots, he consistently finished with a soft touch around the rim. 

 

Mike Chartier 2029 

Chartier made multiple tough drives inside, using his body and crafty footwork to finish through and around defenders in the paint.
