Where are they now? 2009 Junior Elite 75 Alumni
It has been nine years since we were first introduced to some of New England's finest players. Currentley sophomores, juniors and seniors in college, here is how some of the prospects have faired this season in college.
Jared Wilson-Frame (Pittsburgh): In his first year at Pittsburgh, the former Expressions standout averaged almost 13 points per game while starting the majority of the games he has played in.
Aaron Falzon (Northwestern): Has gotten the injury bug the past few years but the former Northfield Mount Hermon and Expressions forward averaged just under 6 points per game.
Chris Baldwin (UMass): Unfortunately Baldwin was shut down for the season in early February, before that he was averaging 5 points and 4 rebounds in 16 minutes per game during his sophomore year.
Bobby Ahearn (Binghampton): A 4 year rotation player, Ahearn averaged about 5 points per game for Binghampton
Bonzie Colston (Notre Dame): Put up some big numbers before unfortunatley going down with an injury just before conference play. Averaged 21 points, 10 rebounds, 2 steals and about 2.5 blocks per game. Colston will be returning to the Notre Dame lineup this week.
Tyree Robinson (Youngstown State): Combo forward in his first year at Youngstown after two years at the JUCO level. Averaged 8 and 4 rebounds on the year.
Jarred Reuter (George Mason): Currently sitting out at George Mason per NCAA rules, Reuter will have two years of eligibility left after transferring from Virginia.
Idris Taqqee (St. Bonnies): A three year starter, Idris averaged 6 points and 5 rebounds per game.
Tommy Mobley (Amherst): Helped lead Amherst to the number 1 seed in the NESCAC championship, Mobley averaged 4 and a half points on the year.
Jackson Donahue (Penn): On a loaded Penn team, Donahue provided a spark off the bench averaging 4 points a game for the Quakers.
Jalen Adams (UConn): One of the top players in the American conference, Adams averaged 18 points, 4 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game while also scoring his 1000th career point as only a junior.
Patrick Benzan (Holy Cross): Holy Cross's starting point guard was good for 6 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists per game as one of the veteran leaders on a young team.
